ABP Newport Marathon Festival
The ABP Newport Marathon Festival takes place in Newport, Wales. The event features a variety of distances held on a course recognized as one of the flattest marathon routes in Europe. The routes start and finish at the city's riverfront, passing through the historic city centre and modern developments.
Participants can choose from the following distances:

The marathon and half marathon courses extend into the rural Gwent Levels, featuring coastal wildlife and medieval villages. The city-based sections of the route include landmarks such as the Newport Transporter Bridge, the Victorian Market, and the International Sports Village.
The weekend includes additional activities beyond the races, such as a Women’s Running Conference and a Pasta Party held on the Saturday preceding the main events.
