Newport Pride Run - Newport, OR
The Newport Pride Run takes place on Sunday, September 20, 2026, at the Newport Performing Arts Center in Newport, Oregon. This is the fourth annual edition and the event offers two running opportunities.
- 5K Walk/Run
- Kids Run
The 5K course starts and finishes at the Performing Arts Center and runs through Historic Nye Beach, along Elizabeth Street with ocean views, and past the Yaquina Bay Lighthouse before returning to the finish. The Kids Run is a shorter loop around the Performing Arts Center designed for younger participants. Every 5K participant receives a finisher medal.
Registration uses tiered pricing for both events with launch, regular, late, and race day rates. An optional event shirt is available for an additional fee and orders placed by September 6, 2026 are guaranteed by size; shirts after that date are available while supplies last.
Proceeds from the event benefit Newport Oregon Pride, supporting their work with the local LGBTQ+ community.
