Newport Pagnell Carnival 5K - 4 July 2026
The Newport Pagnell Carnival 5K is a single-lap, fully closed-road road race through the historic streets of Newport Pagnell. The course is UKA affiliated and described as fast and flat, finishing on Riverside Meadow at the centre of the town's carnival activity.
The event takes place on carnival day, with large spectator crowds lining the route prior to the Carnival Parade. Race services include chip timing, online results, a water station on course, medical support, fully marked routes, marshal support, professional photography and a finishers medal.
There are both competitive and family options. The Serious 5K is a UKA affiliated race with an age restriction of 11 and over. Family fun options include a children’s entry where under 11s must run with an adult. Push buggies are permitted only in the Family Fun 5K. Dogs are not allowed in any race.
Logistics information notes the start at Tanners Drive Industrial Estate and the finish at Riverside Meadow. There is limited parking at the finish via Wellend Drive and additional parking a short distance from the start in Tongwell. Organisers advise reducing traffic around the start. Race packs can be collected in advance or at registration and an athlete guide will be emailed to participants before the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
