Newport Pagnell Carnival 5K (Saturday 4th July 2026)
The Newport Pagnell Carnival 5K is a single-lap, fully closed-road race that runs through the streets of Newport Pagnell and finishes at Riverside Meadow during the town’s carnival celebrations. The course is UKA affiliated and uses chip timing. Spectators line the route around the carnival parade, and the finish sits at the event hub on Riverside Meadow.
Race options include:
- 5K (Serious) UKA affiliated closed-road race with chip timing.
- Family Fun 5K categories for ages 0–11 and 12 plus; push buggies allowed in the Family Fun event.
Race services listed for participants include a water station on course, fully marked routes, friendly marshal support, medical support, a finishers medal, professional photography and online results. A secure bag drop is available with a maximum bag size of 45 x 36 x 20 cm. Race packs can be collected in advance at the event expo or on the day at the registration tent. An athlete guide is emailed to registered participants about one week before the event.
Notable rules and logistics: headphones are banned in the Serious 5K under UKA rules though bone conduction devices are permitted; the Family Fun 5K allows headphones but organisers advise caution. Dogs are not permitted in any race. There are no entries available on the day. The event starts at Tanners Drive Industrial Estate and finishes at Riverside Meadow; limited parking is available at the finish via Wellend Drive while additional parking a few minutes away is noted for visitors.
