Event overview
The Newport Pagnell Carnival 5K is a road race on Saturday 4 July 2026 in Milton Keynes, organised by BCS Events. The course is a single-lap, fully closed-road route that starts at Tanners Drive industrial estate in Blakelands and finishes on Riverside Meadow in Newport Pagnell. The race takes place immediately before the town carnival parade and attracts large spectator crowds along the route.
Race details
- 5 km Serious 5K - age 11+ - UKA affiliated - chip timing
- 5 km Family Fun 5K - ages 12+ and 0-11; under 11 must run with an adult
On-course support and event services include a water station, medical support, fully marked routes, marshal support, chip timing with online results, professional photography, and a finishers medal. Race packs can be collected in advance at the event expo or on the day at the registration tent. Registration closes 2 July 2026 and there are no entries on the day. Parking is limited at Riverside Meadow via Wellend Drive; additional parking will be available a few minutes from the start in Tongwell. Deferrals are not accepted within 30 days of the event, but transfers to another runner are permitted subject to the event deadlines.
