Newport Pagnell Carnival 5K
The Newport Pagnell Carnival 5K is a UKA-affiliated road race held in Newport Pagnell. The course is a single-lap, fully closed-road 5K described as fast and flat. The route finishes at Riverside Meadow, the centre of the town's carnival activities, and takes place shortly before the Carnival Parade.
The event includes a competitive "Serious" 5K with an age limit of 11 and over, plus Family Fun 5K options that cover older children and younger children under separate entry terms. Children under 11 must run with an adult. Push buggies are permitted only in the Family Fun 5K. Dogs are not allowed in any race.
Race facilities listed by the organiser include a finisher medal, a water station on course, fully marked routes, marshal support, on-course medical cover, chip timing and online results, and professional photography. A secure bag drop is available with a suggested maximum bag size of 45 x 36 x 20 cm; bags are left at the runner's risk and are collected at the finish on the meadow.
Practical information from the organiser notes that race packs can be collected in advance or at on-site registration, an Athlete Guide will be emailed about one week before the event, transfers are allowed before the deadline but deferrals are restricted within 30 days of the event, and there are no entries on the day.
The start location is at Tanners Drive Industrial Estate and the finish is at Riverside Meadow, Tanners Drive, Blakelands, Milton Keynes MK14 5BW. Parking near the finish is limited and additional parking is available a few minutes away; attendees are advised to consider walking or being dropped off to reduce local traffic.
