Chilterns Wild Festive Trail Runs 2026
Wild Deer Events stages a festive trail event at Wendover Woods in the Chilterns on 20 December 2026. The event includes a family Santa Mile plus longer trail distances, held around the woodland and hills of the Chilterns.
Available race options:
- Santa Mile for children over 3; parents run free.
- 5 mile for participants over 11.
- 10 mile for participants over 15.
The venue, Wendover Woods, offers trail terrain with views across the Chiltern Hills. Finishers in the 5 and 10 mile races receive a medal, Wild Deer merchandise (socks or a buff), a mince pie, chocolates and a drink. Santa Mile participants receive a medal, a selection box and a drink.
Entry fees are listed from £14 for the Santa Mile up to £29 for the 10 mile event, with intermediate pricing for the 5 mile race.
