Newmarket 10K 2026
The event includes a chip timed 10K road race with start and finish at The Ellesmere Centre, Stetchworth CB8 9TS. It is held on public roads; runners must follow the Highway Code and may need to stop at road crossings. The event holds a UKA race licence number 31075 and UKA course accuracy number 17/188.
Junior races are organised separately around Stetchworth playing field. Distances offered:
- 10K road race
- 3K junior race for ages 10 to 14 years (U15)
- Junior fun run for ages 0 to 9 years, free entry
Facilities on site include toilets, refreshments and a hall. First aid will be provided by Richard's Medical. Medals are given to all finishers. Open prizes are awarded to the first three male and female finishers. Age-group first prizes are awarded for V40, V45, V50, V55, V60, V65 and V70 plus. Team prizes for men and ladies are decided by the sum of places of each club's first three finishers. Junior trophies are awarded to the first boy and girl in each age group. No runner may receive more than one individual prize.
Entries are online only. Affiliated club runners and non affiliated entry fees apply and are reduced for 2026. Places are non refundable but may be transferred following the instructions in the confirmation email. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
