Event overview
The New Year's Resolution Run takes place on January 1, 2026 in Oakdale, PA (102 Union Avenue, 15071). The event includes the following distances:

Registration for the 5K and the 1 mile walk is available prior to the event. The listed entry fees are $37 for the 5K and $25 for the 1 mile walk. Registration closes on December 31, 2025. The first 150 participants to register for either event will receive a commemorative New Year's Resolution Run coffee mug.
Course, awards and other details
The event location has moved to Helicon Brewing for this year and takes place on the Panhandle Trail in Oakdale. The course is an out-and-back on crushed limestone and is described as flat and fast. Awards are given to the top three overall male and female finishers and to male and female runners in these age groups: 19 & under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 & over. A pacer will be present to help runners aim for a target time of 20:26, and special awards are planned for those who run with the pacer and meet that time.
