New Year. New Me community runs

The event takes place on January 2, 2027 at the Mission Hike and Bike Trails, 1386 S Conway Ave., Mission, Texas 78572. It includes timed races and a fun walk and issues a collectible finisher medal called New Year. New Me.

Race features recorded in the event information include chip timing and live results for the 5K and 10K, race bibs and a premium event T shirt with the inscription Choose What Comes Next. Packet pickup is scheduled for December 30. Shirts ordered before December 10 are guaranteed; after that date shirts are available first come first served at packet pickup.

Awards are listed for the 5K and 10K with top male and female overall and age group prizes for 15 and under, 16 to 19, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, 60 to 69, and 70 and older. Event amenities noted include a themed photo area, snacks and hydration, stacked drinks and refreshers, DJ music, and a financial literacy sign up booth.
