About the race
The New Tecumseth Memorial Run/Walk is a community fundraising event at PPG Park in Alliston, Ontario on October 18, 2026. The event raises money for the Stevenson Memorial Hospital Foundation and supports the Because of YOU campaign, which aims to raise CA$80 million for hospital redevelopment, equipment, and facility upgrades.
The event includes organized running activities for adults and children and a vendor village market for participants and spectators. The 5 km event permits runners, walkers, dogs, and strollers. Race day registration is available for CA$75 by cash or e-transfer.
Distances and specific participant items:
- 5 km Run/Walk includes bib with timing, medal, T-shirt and swag bag.
- Kids fun run for 12 years and younger inside PPG Park includes finisher medal and bib.
Shirt size is guaranteed for participants registered by September 20. Pricing tiers apply during registration periods. The kids fun run takes place inside PPG Park and is not run on roads. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
