Caledon Crusher

Caledon Crusher on April 10, 2027 is a trail running event in Mono, Ontario, organized by Crazy Cat Adventures along the Caledon Hills section of the Bruce Trail. Routes follow singletrack and double track with technical sections and substantial climbing. The course is marked using the Bruce Trail white blazes only; there is no additional signage.

Distances

• 25 km: ~850 m elevation, 12.5 km out and 12.5 km back from Mono Centre.
• 50 km: ~1200 m elevation, point to point from Horseshoe Hill to Mono Centre.
• 72 km E2E: ~2100 m elevation, from Creditview near the Badlands to Mono Centre.

Participants in the 50 km and 72 km events must pick up their race kit and board a bus at Mono Community Centre to reach remote start locations. The 25 km event starts and finishes at Mono Community Centre. Free parking is available at Mono Community Centre.

Mandatory equipment for the 50 km and 72 km events includes a toque or beanie, a cell phone with race contacts, a rain jacket, a hydration pack or vest holding 1 to 1.5 L, and a headlamp for the finish (headlamp may be placed in a drop bag at about 35 km for the 72 km event).

There are seven fully stocked aid stations at approximate locations (8/14 km same location, 22 km, 32 km with drop bag availability, 42 km, 51 km water only, 57 km, 68 km). A course map file is available but its elevation data is noted as incorrect. A portion of proceeds supports the Caledon Hills Bruce Trail Section.

Additional notes: early registrants receive a race bib, a soap bar, an event t shirt, a unique finisher medal, an E2E badge for End to End finishers, free high resolution photos, and post race food provided by Mono Cliffs Inn. Awards are given to the top three overall male, female and non binary in each event.
