The Caledon Crusher is a trail run on the technical paths of the Caledon Hills along the Bruce Trail. It offers three distances, from 25 km to 72 km, with significant elevation gain. All races finish at Mono Community Centre, where a post-race meal is provided.

Course and Distances

The Caledon Crusher offers three trail running distances:

  • 25 km: approximately 850 m of elevation gain. An out-and-back course starting from Mono Community Centre.
  • 50 km: approximately 1200 m of elevation gain. A point-to-point course from Horseshoe Hill to Mono Community Centre.
  • 72 km (End-to-End): approximately 2100 m of elevation gain. A point-to-point course from Creditview (near the Badlands) to Mono Community Centre.

Event Details

The event takes place on the Caledon Hills section of the Bruce Trail. The course is described as technical with plenty of climbing, featuring singletrack, double track, and hilly terrain. The route is marked using only the standard white blazes of the Bruce Trail. Seven fully stocked aid stations are located along the course.

Practical Information

The event is held at Mono Centre Park, on Mono Centre Road in Shelburne, Ontario, on Saturday, April 11, 2026. The start times for the different distances are staggered throughout the morning. Participants in the 50 km and 72 km events must pick up their race kits and board a shuttle bus at Mono Community Centre to be transported to the start line. Mandatory gear is required for the 50 km and 72 km distances (toque/beanie, cell phone, rain jacket, hydration pack/vest, headlamp). Free parking is available at Mono Community Centre.
