Caledon Crusher
Caledon Crusher is a trail running event taking place on April 10, 2027 in Mono, Ontario, on the Caledon Hills section of the Bruce Trail. The course follows marked Bruce Trail white blazes only and runs along singletrack and double track with multiple technical sections and sustained climbing.
Distances offered:
- 72 km E2E - approx 2100 m elevation, Creditview to Mono Centre.
- 50 km - approx 1200 m elevation, point to point to Mono Centre.
- 25 km - approx 850 m elevation, out and back from Mono Centre.
There are seven fully stocked aid stations at approximate locations (8/14k same location, 22k, 32k with drop bag access, 42k, 51k water only, 57k, 68k). Aid station supplies include electrolyte product Skratch Labs, water, ice, snacks and cookies. Participants in the 50 km and 72 km events must pick up their race kit at Mono Community Centre and board the provided bus to remote start locations; the 25 km event starts and finishes at Mono Community Centre. Free parking is available at Mono Community Centre but space is limited.
Mandatory gear for the 50 km and 72 km events must be carried and includes a toque or beanie, a cell phone with race contacts, a rain jacket, a hydration pack or vest (1–1.5 L) and a headlamp for the finish. Awards are given to the top three overall male, female and non-binary finishers in each event. The organizer is Crazy Cat Adventures. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
