2nd Annual New England Ostomy 5K - Wallis Sands State Park, Rye Beach, NH
The Second Annual New England Ostomy 5K is a community run and walk on October 4, 2026, held at Wallis Sands State Park in Rye Beach, New Hampshire. The event benefits the United Ostomy Associations of America (UOAA); proceeds support UOAA programs and donations are tax deductible. The host site is the NH Department of Natural and Cultural Resources, Division of Parks and Recreation.
The event program includes a community 5K and a separate kids activity featuring a short dash for children ages 12 and under. A raffle and award presentations are part of the day. Registration for the main race opened March 23, 2026; the standard registration fee is $30 and the kids run fee is $20. Volunteer registration is available and has no fee. Fundraising is encouraged: raising $125 or more qualifies a participant for a refund of the registration fee, and higher fundraising levels are associated with additional recognition.
