New England Green River Marathon 2026
The New England Green River Marathon is a point-to-point marathon held on August 23, 2026, between Marlboro, Vermont and Greenfield, Massachusetts. The course follows the Green River, passes through an 1870s covered bridge, and finishes at Greenfield Community College beneath maple trees. The course is USATF certified (MA18003JK) and has a net 1,400 foot drop over a rolling, predominantly downhill route. The course has produced personal bests and Boston qualifying times for well-trained runners.
Online registration for the 2026 marathon is closed; the 2026 marathon field is full. There is no waitlist and no bib transfers for this event. A $40 donation is required for the event's fundraising partners. The event’s fundraising activities have raised $23,390.00 for named partner organizations.
