New Castle 10K - New Castle, NH
The New Castle 10K is a waterfront road race held on April 26, 2026 at Great Island Common, 301 Wentworth Road, New Castle, New Hampshire. The event is listed as sold out for in-person entries.
The course follows the local "New Castle Loop" and crosses four bridges. The route passes the Portsmouth Shipyard, the former naval prison, the Piscataqua River, lobster boats, sailboats, a lighthouse, and the Wentworth by the Sea Hotel and Marina. There are two water stops on course, located at roughly two-mile intervals.
Event logistics include limited VIP parking on Great Island Common adjacent to the registration and start/finish area, general parking at Portsmouth High School with shuttle bus service to the race site, and a runner drop-off and pick-up area at the front driveway of Great Island Common. No street parking is permitted on public streets in New Castle. Gear check is available at the registration area.
Early bib and shirt pick-up is offered at the Millennium Running Retail Store the day before the race; race day pick-up is available at the registration tents at Race Day HQ. Post-race refreshments include water, bananas, snacks and yogurt. Official results will be published online the Tuesday after the race. Free digital race photos are posted online within a few business days and finishers receive a finisher video link after the event.
A virtual option is available; virtual participants may submit results by the Monday following the event. Virtual registrants earn Elliot Millennium Series miles but do not receive Points Chase scoring. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
