NELA Bar Foundation - Race Judicata
The NELA Bar Foundation Race Judicata is an annual community 5K held on October 31, 2026 at Forsythe Park, 2300 Sycamore Street, Monroe, Louisiana. The event raises funds for the Northeast Louisiana Bar Foundation’s pro bono projects and concludes National Pro Bono Week (October 25–31). The distance offered is 5K.
Packet pickup is available the day before the race at Fleet Feet Monroe (1866 Forsythe Ave) or on race morning. Registration details note a standard registration fee of $45, with a lower rate available for registrations completed by October 10. A law student rate of $20 is offered. Race shirts are included for participants who register and choose a size by October 10; after that date shirts may be available as a paid add-on and could be delivered after race day.
On-course water and pre- and post-race snacks are provided. Awards include medals for 1st through 3rd place in each age group and participation medals for all finishers. Age-group categories are: 19 & under; 20–29; 30–39; 40–49; 50–59; 60–69; and 70 & over. Because the date falls on Halloween, costume awards are planned for Best Overall, Funniest, and Best Group or Family.
