Neewollah 5K and 10K
The Neewollah 5K and 10K takes place in Independence, Kansas. This athletic event offers three distinct distances for participants:
- 5K
- 10K
- 1 Mile Fun Run
The courses for the 5K and 10K events are certified. Participation in the 10K race is restricted to individuals aged 13 years or older. The Fun Run is a specialized event reserved for children aged 12 and younger.
Registered participants receive refreshments following the completion of their race. The event operates on a rain or shine basis, and race day packet pickup is required for all runners. For safety and logistics, dogs are not permitted in any of the race categories.
Awards are presented for the 5K and 10K distances. These include recognition for the overall male and female winners of each race, as well as the top three finishers in various age groups. Age divisions range from 12 and under for the 5K up to 60 and over.
The registration fee structure includes a t-shirt for those who complete their pre-registration by October 1st. For the Fun Run, t-shirts are provided to the first 100 participants.
