Ned Ned Run : Nederland, Colorado
Ned Ned Run is a long running community race held in Nederland, Colorado at 151 East Street. The event marks a multi decade tradition and is presented as family friendly. Costumes are encouraged and running with a dog on leash is allowed in the 5K only.
Distances offered include:
- Half Marathon: 13.3 miles, 1408 feet elevation gain
- 10K: 6.3 miles, 712 feet elevation gain, dirt roads and single track trails
- 5K Road Run: out and back course, TEENS Inc to High School, dogs on leash
The half marathon is part of the Colorado Mountain Half Marathon Series and follows trails and dirt roads through the Old Town Nederland area. The 10K emphasizes mostly dirt roads and single track mountain trails. Volunteers and sponsors support the event and its associated community causes.
