Necktie 5K Walk & Run
The Necktie 5K Walk & Run takes place on June 20, 2026 in Beverly Shores, Indiana at Rebora Plaza, 1 East Lakefront Drive, 46301. This is the 19th annual running of the event. The event offers a 5K course with views of Lake Michigan.
Participants are encouraged to wear neckties in recognition of fathers. Awards include prizes for the most creative neckties, awards to the first father and son team and to the first father and daughter team to finish together, and neckties for the top three finishers in each age group.
Registration is limited to 500 runners and walkers. Registration opens January 18, 2026 and closes June 9, 2026. The registration fee is $25. Groups of four or more who register together online receive a $5 discount per entry; the discount applies when registrations are submitted at the same time. A discount is also available to participants who register early and opt out of receiving a shirt.
Pre-registered participants may receive a commemorative race number and an official short sleeved unisex race shirt. Shirt sizes are offered from Kid Small through Adult XXL. T shirts are not guaranteed for registrations completed after June 2. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
