Necktie 5K Walk & Run

The Necktie 5K Walk & Run is scheduled for Saturday, June 20, 2026 in Rebora Plaza, 1 East Lakefront Drive, Beverly Shores, IN 46301, USA. This is the 19th annual edition of the event and it takes place on Father’s Day weekend. Participants are encouraged to wear neckties in recognition of fathers and the route offers views of Lake Michigan.

Prizes are awarded for the most creative neckties. Awards are also given to the first father and son team and the first father and daughter team to finish together. The top three finishers in each age group receive a necktie.

Registration is limited to 500 runners and walkers. Registration opens January 18, 2026 and closes June 9, 2026. The registration fee is $25. Groups of four or more who register together online at the same time receive a five dollar discount per entry. Pre registered participants may receive a commemorative race number and an official race shirt. Shirts are short sleeved and unisex, available in Kid's Small to Adult XXL. T shirts are not guaranteed after June 2. A discount is also offered to participants who register early and decline a shirt. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
