Navy Federal Vienna 5K and Virtual 5K
The event on Sept. 12, 2026 includes both in-person and virtual 5K options and additional community activities. The in-person events take place in Vienna, VA at 820 Follin Lane and benefit Rebuilding Together-AFF. The virtual series runs between Sept. 12 and Oct. 10, 2026 and benefits U.S. VETS. Registration opens on July 6, 2026; in-person registration for many categories closes August 24, 2026, while some youth in-person registrations close on Sept. 12, 2026. Virtual registration remains open through Oct. 10, 2026. Registration fees are non-refundable.
In-person participants receive a race T-shirt while supplies last and a race bib. The in-person 5K is officially timed by Good Times Event Services. Water is provided during and after the race. A post-race gathering includes food, refreshments and prizes. Prizes are awarded to the top three Male, Female and Wheelchair User finishers, and to the top three Male and Female finishers in each age group. Dogs are not eligible to participate; strollers are allowed. The race will be held rain or shine, with possible delay or cancellation for lightning.
