Navy Federal Vienna 5K
The event includes an in-person 5K and wheelchair divisions, a community Sammie Sprint, and a virtual 5K option. The in-person portion is the 32nd annual Vienna 5K held in Vienna, Virginia at 820 Follin Lane on Saturday, September 12. The virtual edition is the 12th annual Virtual Navy Federal 5K and can be completed any time between September 12 and October 10.
In-person participants receive a race T-shirt while supplies last and an individualized race bib. Official timing is provided by Good Times Event Services. Water is provided during and after the race, and food, refreshments and prizes are available at the post-race gathering. Prizes are awarded for the top three male, top three female, and top three wheelchair user times, and for the top three male and female finishers in each age group.
Dogs are not eligible to participate. Strollers are allowed. Registration fees are non-refundable and the event is held rain or shine; delays or cancellation may occur if lightning is present. Registration opens July 6. Some in-person registration categories close on August 24 and the youth in-person category closes on September 12. Registering for the virtual event by August 24 secures a race T-shirt while supplies last.
