Nature Park 50K and 25K Trail Race
The event takes place on February 13, 2027 in Enterprise South Nature Park, Chattanooga, TN, and is organized by Wild Trails. Distances offered:
- 50K
- 25K
Both distances use a single loop course. The route begins with a half mile road section before joining the Poe Run trail. At about 3 miles the course moves onto maintained horse trails where one of five aid stations is located. Near 11 miles the route follows pedestrian only trails for approximately 5 winding, non-technical miles. At about 16 miles the course returns to mountain bike trails near the start/finish area. The final section includes roughly 15 miles of rolling single track.
The park covers about 2,800 acres of wooded terrain. The course passes through a concrete TNT storage bunker at mile 17; the park contains about 100 of these bunkers from its munitions manufacturing history. Wildlife in the area includes turkeys, deer, hawks, coyotes, raccoons and various reptiles. Park facilities include picnic areas, restrooms, a dog park, a disc golf course, play areas for children, and pump tracks for biking.
Registration closes on Friday, February 12 at 11:59 PM ET. Listed entry fees range from USD 66.25 to USD 87.50. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
