Nature Park 50K Trail Race

Course Details
The race takes place on the trails at Enterprise South Nature Park. The 50K and 25K distances are run as one-loop courses. The race begins with a half-mile road section to thin out the field before joining the wide Poe Run trail. At 3 miles, runners enter well-maintained horse trails.
Aid Stations and Terrain
There are five aid stations offering a choice of snacks and drinks. At 11 miles, the course returns to pedestrian-only trails for approximately 5 miles of non-technical, winding trail. The course returns to the start/finish area at mile 16, then transitions to mountain bike trails. The final 15 miles consist of rolling single-track trails.
Park Features
The park includes 100 concrete TNT storage bunkers from its past as a U.S. Army munitions facility; the course passes through one bunker at mile 17. The park encompasses 2800 acres of mostly undisturbed, wooded terrain, home to wildlife including turkeys, deer, and hawks. The park also features picnic areas, restrooms, a dog park, a disc golf course, play areas, and bike pump tracks. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
