About the Event
The Native Jackal Trail Marathon is held in Henderson, Tennessee. The 2026 event marks the 12th year of the race. It serves as the fifth and final race of a five-day series called the Jackal Trail Marathon series.
Course Information
The marathon course consists of a 2.65 mile loop that participants run ten times. For the entire marathon distance, the course features nearly 3,500 feet of total climb. The event also offers a shorter 10.6 mile distance race option.
The loop surface is mixed:
- Approximately 2/5 of the loop is paved.
- The remaining 3/5 is a trail section that contains many roots and bridges.
