Course Details
The course at Pike Lake State Park is described as a technical trail featuring roots, ruts, rocks, and rolling hills. It is noted as one of the most challenging courses in the Wisconsin Trail Assail Series. Distances may vary slightly from standard measurements, especially on the half marathon course. Walkers and ruckers are welcome in all distance events.
Post-Race and Amenities
A key feature is the post-race refreshment, which includes a free fresh fruit bar and watermelon slices at the finish line. Aid stations on the course provide water and sports drink. Participants receive a finisher medal, referred to as a "woodle." Overall winners and age group finishers receive custom awards.
Logistics
Parking is available at the park but requires a Wisconsin DNR day pass or annual sticker. An overflow parking lot with a shuttle bus to the start area is provided.
