National Police Week 5K
The Officer Down Memorial Page hosts the 20th annual National Police Week 5K on May 9, 2026 in Crystal City, Arlington, VA. The in-person event takes place at Virginia Highlands Park - Diamond 3 and a Virtual 5K is offered for participants worldwide.
The event includes an in-person 5K and a Virtual 5K. Registration uses tiered fees: $40 from February 1 through February 28, $45 from March 1 through March 31, $50 from April 1 through May 8, and $55 on the day of the race. For the Virtual 5K, an additional $7 is added to cover shipping. Participants can register as individuals or form teams.
The event promotes Project Active Armor, a law enforcement initiative that encourages deputies, agents, corrections officers, and police officers to wear body armor. Participants who take part in the event while wearing PAA gear may be eligible to purchase a limited edition ODMP PAA patch and can earn PAA patches from ODMP, Law Enforcement United, and other agencies.
