The Nashville Turkey Trot is a chip-timed Thanksgiving morning event in Nashville, Tennessee, offering multiple course options and a kids dash. Courses are entirely on paved road or trail and include water stations along the route. There is no gear check at the event site.

All finishers receive a commemorative finisher medal. Local McGaugh’s Donuts are provided at the finish line. Participant gear options include a classic t-shirt or an upgrade to a thin-tec soft polyester pullover. Packet options include mailing the packet to the participant for a fee; on-site packet pick-up is available with an anticipated short wait on race morning.
The event supports Special Olympics Tennessee; the organization provides year-round sports training and athletic competition for people with intellectual disabilities. Results, photos, and archived leader boards are posted after the event. Awards are given to top three male and female finishers in each age group and overall for chip-timed categories, and a finisher award is provided for all Kids Dash participants. Age groups are defined in ten-year bands with additional categories for younger runners.
Strollers are allowed for walkers and joggers only and require a guardian waiver. Dogs are not permitted. Headphones or personal audio devices are allowed but are not recommended for safety. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
