Nashville Oktoberfest 5K Bier Run 2026
The Nashville Oktoberfest 5K Bier Run is a road race held as part of the Nashville Oktoberfest in the Historic Germantown neighborhood of downtown Nashville. The course starts at 7th Avenue North and Madison Street near 700 Madison. The event is presented by the Historic Germantown Neighborhood Association and benefits that nonprofit organization, a registered 501(c)(3).
Registered participants receive a race t-shirt, a 20 ounce beer or wine token (alcohol for those 21 and over with ID), and festival entry on race day. Packet pick up and onsite registration are available at the 5K race registration tent at the Oktoberfest site on the day before the race and on race day. Online registration has set pricing tiers by month, with listed rates rising from seventy to the day of event pricing; fees vary by registration date.
Awards are given to the top three overall finishers, top three masters, and the top three finishers in each five year age group. Corporate teams compete in divisions by company size with cross country scoring and age and gender handicaps, and awards are presented to the top three companies in each division. Event management is provided by the Nashville Striders. Parking near the start is limited; a State of Tennessee lot at James Robertson Parkway and Rosa Parks Boulevard is available about three blocks away.
