Nashville Oktoberfest 5K Bier Run 2026
The event is a 5K road race held on October 03, 2026 in the Historic Germantown neighborhood of Nashville, Tennessee. The course starts at 7th Avenue North and Madison Street (700 Madison, Nashville, TN 37208) and is part of the Nashville Oktoberfest activities. All proceeds benefit the Historic Germantown Neighborhood Association, a registered 501(c)(3).
Online registration closes at 6:00 pm on Thursday, October 1. Onsite packet pick-up is available Friday, October 2 from 12:00 noon to 6:00 pm and Saturday, October 3 from 6:30 am to 7:30 am at the 5K Race Registration Tent on 7th Ave N at the corner of Jefferson Street. Pre-registered participants receive a race T-shirt, a 20 oz. beer or wine token, and festival entry on race day; alcohol is for those 21 and over with ID and wine tokens must be redeemed at Oktoberfest beer stations.
Awards are given to top three overall, masters, and top three in five-year age groups, plus top three companies in each Corporate Challenge division using cross-country scoring, handicapped by age and gender. Race management is provided by the Nashville Striders. Use of headphones is discouraged, strollers are lined up at the rear, pets are not allowed, and participants must complete the course within one hour. Parking is limited; a State of Tennessee lot at James Robertson Parkway and Rosa Parks Boulevard is approximately three blocks from the start.
