Barron Collier Companies Naples Half Marathon
The event is a USATF certified half marathon held in Naples, FL. The race distance is 13.1 Miles. Registration has a listed fee of $90 and a minimum age to register of 13 years.
The race offers free photos from the course, race shirts, and unique finisher medals for participants who complete the course within the strict three hour time limit. Medals are also awarded to the first 1600 finishers. Awards are given five deep across 28 age groups, and age group winners receive a $100 prize (not including runners under 18). Additional cash prizes include a $10,000 purse for the top five women and top five men (US citizens only), a $5,500 purse for Masters, Grand Masters, and Senior Grand Masters (all countries), and cash bonuses for course, masters, and age group records.
Packet pick up is held at Naples on the Run and on race day at Cambier Park. Pacers from MarathonPacing.com will cover a range of finish times and are provided as a free service to runners. GCR members are eligible for a 5% discount until race day.
For safety and course management, the event enforces a strict three hour course time limit and does not permit strollers or pets. Friends and family are not permitted to enter the finish chute and failure to respect this policy may result in disqualification.
