Napa Fall Wine Country Marathon
The 34th annual Napa Fall Wine Country event takes place on October 24, 2026, at Bothe-Napa Valley State Park in Saint Helena, California. The event is limited to 300 participants and includes trail and virtual options.

The course follows lush single-track trails inside the state park with streams, rocks, and hills. Orange ribbon will mark the route; runners should watch trail crossings and follow the ribbon. Hikers and walkers are welcome. The overall course cut-off is 6 hours (13:45 min/mile pace for marathoners, 27:30 min/mile pace for half marathoners, 58 min/mile pace for 10Kers).
There is one aid station at the start and finish area; half marathoners encounter it once during the two-loop course. Marathoners see the aid station at approximately miles 6, 10, 16, and 20. Participants are encouraged to carry water.
All participants receive a T-shirt. Medals are awarded to all marathon and half marathon finishers. Personalized award ribbons for the top three male and female finishers in each age group will be mailed after the race. Bibs are mailed beginning two weeks before the event; unreceived bibs may be picked up on race morning.
Parking inside the park is $10 per vehicle; legal roadside parking on Highway 29 serves as overflow. Tent campsites and yurts are available in the park. The event is not affiliated with the Annual Napa Valley Marathon. For safety, headphones and other audio devices are not allowed. Cancellations are non-refundable; a rollover credit may be issued if requested by September 24, 2026, minus a $20 fee, with a doctor note required after that date.
