Napa Fall Wine Country Marathon, Half Marathon & 10K : 34th Annual
The event takes place on October 24, 2026 at Bothe-Napa Valley State Park, 3801 Saint Helena Highway, Saint Helena, California. It offers trail races over three distances and is limited to 300 participants.
Course terrain is primarily single-track trails through the state park and includes hills, streams and rocky sections. The route is marked with orange ribbon; runners should follow the ribbon at trail crossings. Parts of the course are narrow with steep drop-offs, and the use of headphones or other audio devices is not allowed for safety reasons.
Aid is available at one station located at the start/finish area. Half marathon participants encounter the aid station once during their second loop. Marathon participants pass aid at approximately miles 6, 10, 16 and 20; participants are advised to carry water. The published course cut-off time is six hours; corresponding pace guidance is provided for each distance.
Event logistics and incentives include mailed bib numbers beginning two weeks before the event, T-shirts for all participants, personalized award ribbons mailed to the top three male and female finishers in each age group for all distances, and medals for all marathon and half marathon finishers.
