Nancy M. Kapheim Memorial Classic
The event is hosted by the Cornbelt Running Club and benefits the Nancy Kapheim Scholarship Fund. It takes place on Sunset Lane in Rock Island, Illinois, on an out and back course that follows the local bike path and includes traffic protection during the event. A special pre-race ceremony will be held in memory of club members.

Packet pickup and in-person registration are available at the CBRC office in Davenport, Iowa the day before the event, and on race morning at the Sunset Marina Shelter in Rock Island. Entry for the runs is listed at $35 and breakfast only is listed at $7. A member discount of $2 for Cornbelt Running Club members applies until September 23.
Awards are presented during the post-race breakfast. The 10K and 5K runs include 1st place overall male and female awards. Masters awards for 1st place male and female are given in each listed age division with three deep placement: 19 and under, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, and 80 plus. The 5K Competitive Walk awards 1st through 3rd place overall male and female.
