Corpuscle Shuffle 5K Run and Walk
The Corpuscle Shuffle 5K Run and Walk is an annual fall event hosted by ImpactLife on October 3, 2026. The event offers two distances: 5 kilometers and 1 mile, with a course that runs through hilly city streets near the blood center headquarters. The 5K course includes mile markers, is chip timed, and is patrolled at key intersections by the Bettendorf Police Department and race volunteers.
After the run there is an awards ceremony and a post race gathering at Five Cities Brewing. The brewery opens for the event and provides a complimentary breakfast for participants, plus a designated time to regroup with friends. Packet pickup is available the day before at the ImpactLife lobby and on the morning of the event.
Registration options include standard, youth, late, and a Sleep In registration that includes an event shirt. Strollers are permitted on the course and well behaved dogs on leash are welcome. Sponsors and registration support the LifeSavings Grant program; the Corpuscle Shuffle raises more than $20,000 annually for the program. Participating K through 12 schools that host blood drives with ImpactLife receive a $250 grant plus $1 for each registered blood donor, to be used for books, equipment, scholarships, or donations to other nonprofit causes.
