Nags Head Village 5k/1 Mile Road Race series presented by Village Realty
This is a community road race series in the Village of West Nags Head that features a chip timed 5k and a one mile event. The series takes place on Thursdays in the village and is presented by Village Realty.
The course and event area are located behind the Outer Banks Mall at milepost 14 on Big Road (Hwy 158). The start and finish are on the corner of West Seachase and South Links behind the Outback Steakhouse. Parking is available in the mall and portable toilets are provided on site.
Race entry includes an event t-shirt, a finisher medal, chip timing and post-race refreshments and snacks. There is no packet pickup on days before the race; packet pickup, check-in and late walk-up registration are available on race morning at the start line. Entry fee is listed as $45 per event.
Awards for the 5k include top three male and female overall, first place male and female masters (40 and over), and first place male and female youth (14 and under). The one mile has a first place overall male and female award. Results are posted to the race results page and are emailed to participants.
