Nags Head Village 5K/1 Mile Road Race

The event takes place on Thursday, July 16, 2026, in the Village of West Nags Head, North Carolina. The event offers two distances: a 5K and a 1 Mile run.

The start and finish line is on the corner of West Seachase Drive and South Links Drive, located behind the Outback Steakhouse and the Outer Banks Mall. Parking is available at the mall, and portable restrooms are on site. Packet pickup, check-in, and late registration are available on the morning of the event at the start line; there is no pre-event day packet pickup.

The registration fee includes an event t-shirt, a finisher medal, chip timing, and post-race refreshments and snacks. Awards are given for the 5K in the following categories: top three male and female overall, first place male and female Master (40 and over), and first place male and female Youth (14 and under). The 1 Mile awards first place overall male and female.
