Nags Head Sunrise 5K Beach Race Series
The Nags Head Sunrise 5K Beach Race Series takes place on the shores of the Outer Banks. The event is hosted at Jennette's Pier and utilizes the beach sand for the course. This family-oriented gathering is open to both runners and walkers.

The event uses chip timing for all participants. Awards are presented for the 5 km distance to the top three overall male and female finishers. Recognition is also provided for the first-place male and female finishers in the 14 and under category, as well as the Masters category for those aged 40 and over.
Participants receive an event t-shirt, a finisher medal, and access to a post-race cold breakfast with refreshments. Registration is available for adults and youth aged 17 and under. There is no packet pickup prior to the day of the race; instead, check-in and walk-up registration occur on-site on the morning of the event at Jennette's Pier.
