Na Heihei A Ola - Waimea Town Celebration Fun Run
The Na Heihei A Ola fun run takes place on February 21, 2026 as part of the 49th Annual Waimea Town Celebration. The event is located in Waimea on the island of Kauaʻi, with check-in at Waimea Plantation Cottages, 9400 Kaumualii Hwy.
The event offers three distances:
- 2K Run/Walk
- 5K Run
- 10K Run
All races begin at Pa'ula'ula State Historic Site and finish at the Waimea Plantation Cottages. Participants are transported by bus from the check-in area to the starting location. Parking is available across the cottages entrance at the ball park and on the highway by the cottages; no parking is allowed at Pa'ula'ula. An award ceremony and paʻina follow the finish.
Packet pickup is scheduled for Friday, February 20 from 4:00 to 9:00 pm at the WTC Hoʻolauleʻa. Registration closes on Friday, February 20 and there is no race-day registration. The organizer notes a sustainability initiative: free race shirts will no longer be given with registration, but a limited number of commemorative shirts will be available for purchase on Friday and Saturday to support fundraising for youth sports and health programs.
