Event Overview
The Mythic Race 2026 is an obstacle course event taking place on Saturday, April 11, 2026, in Sikeston and Blodgett, Missouri. The event features a course approximately 3.1 miles (5 km) long containing over 25 different obstacles. This year marks the fifth edition of the competition, which is held in support of Heart of the Bride Ministries.
Participants can choose from several event formats:
- 5 hour endurance wave: A multi-lap event for participants aged 13 to 99.
- Competitive 5k: A single-lap timed event for participants aged 13 to 99.
- Open 5k waves: Non-competitive single-lap waves for participants aged 13 to 99.
- Child 1.5 miles: A course for children aged 10 to 12, who must be accompanied by an adult.
The event utilizes multiple waves for the 5k distances to manage the flow of participants throughout the morning. All individuals who finish their respective events receive a finisher medal and a shirt.
Recognition is provided for top performers in specific categories. The top three male and female finishers in both the competitive 5k and the 5-hour endurance event receive additional prizes.
