My Name'5 Doddie Charity Race : 5K, 10K and Kids 1K Fun Run
The My Name'5 Doddie Charity Race is an organised running event in Edinburgh hosted by Blast Running. The course runs at Gypsy Brae Recreation Ground and along the Silverknowes Promenade using wide, flat tarmac paths.
Distances offered:
- Kids 1K Fun Run : all ages welcome
- 5K : ages 11 and above
- 10K : ages 15 and above
All finishers receive a medal. The event includes post-run snacks and drinks and awards prizes for first, second and third place male and female in the 5K and 10K. Entry fees listed for the event are: Kids 1K £2; 5K £10 standard or £12 for non-members; 10K £18 standard or £20 for non-members. A £2 insurance levy applies to non-Scottish Athletics members and is passed to Scottish Athletics.
The event raises funds for the My Name'5 Doddie Foundation and Cramond Primary School. A previous edition raised £1,000 for the My Name'5 Doddie Foundation and £500 for Cramond Primary School.
