My Name'5 Doddie Charity Race - 5K, 10K & Kids 1K Fun Run
The event takes place on Sunday 7 June 2026 in Edinburgh at Gypsy Brae Recreation Ground with sections along Silverknowes Promenade. Access is via West Shore Road. The event is organised by Blast Running and supports local fundraising.
Available distances:
- Kids 1K Fun Run, all ages welcome
- 5K, age 11 and over
- 10K, age 15 and over
Entry fees are published for each distance: the Kids 1K entry is £2; 5K entries are £10 standard and £13 for non-members; 10K entries are £18 standard and £21 for non-members. A £3 insurance levy applies to non-Scottish Athletics members and is paid to Scottish Athletics.
All finishers receive a medal. Prizes are awarded for first, second and third male and female in the 5K and 10K. Post-run snacks and drinks are provided. The event raises funds for the My Name'5 Doddie Foundation and Cramond Primary School; in the previous year the event raised £1,000 for the My Name'5 Doddie Foundation and £500 for Cramond Primary School's playground refurbishment.
