MV Spring Classic Marathon and Half Marathon
The MV Spring Classic takes place on April 26, 2026, on Martha's Vineyard with races based in Oak Bluffs. The event offers a full marathon and a half marathon on courses that run across the island.

Both races finish at Waban Park in Oak Bluffs and start at Martha's Vineyard Regional High School. The courses are USATF certified (MA 16036JK, MA 16037JK); the marathon serves as a Boston Marathon qualifier. The routes are generally flat with a couple of rolling hills on the marathon course.
The event is capped at 500 runners total and, as a USATF sanctioned race, participants must be at least 16 years old. At the time of publication both races are sold out. There are two opportunities for bib and shirt pickup: the day before at Lululemon in Edgartown from 3:00 to 6:00 pm, and on race morning at the high school from 6:00 to 7:30 am; bibs will not be mailed. Travelers arriving the morning of the race should note the ferry schedule referenced by organizers.
Proceeds from the event are distributed to island youth organizations and sports teams, and volunteers from those groups staff aid stations and cheer along the course. No dogs or strollers are permitted on the course. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
