Event overview
The MV Spring Classic Marathon and Half Marathon takes place on Sunday, April 26, 2026, in Oak Bluffs, Massachusetts. The event is limited to 500 total runners and is USATF sanctioned. Participants must be at least 16 years of age. The marathon is a Boston Marathon qualifier and both courses carry USATF certification numbers MA 16036JK and MA 16037JK.

Course and logistics
Both courses are described as mostly flat, with the marathon containing a couple of rolling hills. The routes include ocean views and sections through the center of Martha's Vineyard. The start location for both events is Martha's Vineyard Regional High School and the finish for both is at Waban Park in Oak Bluffs.
There are two scheduled bib and shirt pick-up opportunities: one at Lululemon in Edgartown and one at Martha's Vineyard Regional High School on race day. Bibs will not be mailed. All proceeds from the event are distributed to local youth organizations and sports teams; volunteers from those groups will staff aid stations and support runners along the course.
