Mustang's Milestone 5K : Hallie Wells Middle School 10th Anniversary
Mustang's Milestone 5K marks the tenth anniversary of Hallie Wells Middle School in Clarksburg, Maryland. The event is a community 5K with the start and finish at Hallie Wells Middle School and a course that passes through Ovid Hazen Wells Recreational Park, including a view of the National Mall carousel.
The event offers organized competition with awards for overall top three male and female finishers and age group awards for students and adults. Student age groups include age 10 and under, ages 11 to 14, and ages 15 to 18. Adult age groups are 19 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, and 60 and older. Awards recognize the top three male and female finishers in applicable groups.
Registration opens on July 15, 2026. Pricing is tiered: Early bird entry before September 15 is listed at $25 for adults and $15 for students and kids; regular registration from September 16 to October 15 is $30 for adults and $20 for students and kids; race day registration is $35 for adults and $25 for students and kids. A family registration bundle for five family members is listed at $75. Proceeds are designated to support educational resources and the school’s tenth anniversary celebration.
