Mustang Music 5K
The event at Kinard Middle School in Fort Collins, Colorado, includes a timed neighborhood 5K, a kids Reverse Parade Fun Run on the school track, and a non participant T-shirt option that supports the school band.
Distances and options:
- 5K Run/Walk with chip timing
- 1 mile Kids Reverse Parade/Fun Run for ages 10 and under
- Mustang Music ZEROK non participant T-shirt only
The 5K follows neighborhood streets near Kinard Middle School and features live music along the course provided by the Kinard and Fort Collins High bands. Prizes are awarded by category.
The Reverse Parade is two laps around the Kinard track. Musical groups surround the track while participants walk or run. Entry for the kids event includes a short sleeved tech T-shirt, and parents of very young children may run with their child on the track.
A non participant ZEROK entry includes a shirt and supports the band; shirts must be picked up at Kinard Middle School in Fort Collins. Early bird registration ends September 13, 2026. Online registration ends September 20, 2026. On site registration is available on race day. Registrations after September 13 will receive T-shirts two to three weeks after the race.
