Mustang Dash 5K
The Mustang Dash 5K is a community running event held on August 8, 2026 at 1500 Caldwell Ave, Portage, Pennsylvania. The route passes the Portage football stadium, continues to Main Street, goes through Crichton McCormick Park, and finishes with a lap inside the football stadium. The event is presented as an untimed fun run with a running clock at the finish line.
Prizes are awarded to the first five male finishers and the first five female finishers. First place receives a pie; second through fifth receive a summer treat.
Registration policies are date specific. Registration completed by Friday, July 24 guarantees a race shirt for a $15 fee. Registration from Saturday, July 25 through race day has a $10 fee and does not include a race shirt. The organizer notes that no extra race shirts will be available beyond those guaranteed to registrations by the July 24 cutoff.
