Musselburgh Festival 10K
The Musselburgh Festival 10K takes place on 18 July 2026 and is organised by Musselburgh and District AC. The event includes a main 10K race on a flat course of paths and tracks and a separate 1K children's fun run on grass that follows the 10K. The fun run does not require pre-sign up and children may turn up on the day.
All entrants for the 10K must be aged 16 years or older on race day. The 10K will be run under UK Athletics rules and is a scottishathletics permit event. The 10K is chip timed; timing chips and race numbers must be collected on the day at the event registration desk located in the pavilion at Loretto School Playing Fields. The start and finish are at Loretto School Playing Fields, with the entrance at the corner of New Street and the River Esk by the footbridge.
Online entries made in advance of Sunday 14 June 2026 have the option to purchase a t-shirt for £8; entries made after that date will not have the option to buy a t-shirt. Entry pricing varies by date and discounted rates apply for members of SA EA WA. Total places are limited to 400 and the event status is listed as open.
