Musky Fun Run
The Musky Fun Run is a 5K and 10K event that is part of the larger Musky Jamboree weekend in Boulder Junction, Wisconsin. It begins at the Boulder Junction Sports and Recreation Park. A 1K and a 100-yard dash for children aged 10 and under are also included in the schedule.
Race Details
Participants can register for the 5K or 10K. A pre-registration fee of $35 applies, with a $40 fee for walk-in registration on race day. The children's races are free, but they do not include a t-shirt. Registration includes:
- A cotton unisex t-shirt for 5K and 10K participants.
- A chip-timed bib for 5K and 10K participants.
- Refreshments.
Check-in and walk-in registration are available from 7:00 AM to 7:45 AM. The 5K and 10K races begin at 8:00 AM. The kids' races start immediately after the last 10K runner finishes, around 9:00 AM. An awards ceremony is held immediately following the races. Strollers and leashed pets are permitted on the course.
Awards
For both the 5K and 10K events, medals are awarded to the top three male and female finishers in multiple age categories. The categories are 12 & under, 13-16, 17-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+. Overall top male and female finishers receive a plaque. In the children's races, medals are awarded to the top two finishers in both the 1K and 100-yard dash, and each entrant receives a participation prize.
Parking is available at the ballpark and the Flats on Marsh Road. The organizer states there are no refunds or transfers for any reason, including race cancellation due to inclement weather. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
