Muskoka Marathon 2026 : Bracebridge, Ontario
The Muskoka Marathon weekend takes place October 3 and 4, 2026, at Santa's Village on Golden Beach Road in Bracebridge. The event offers a range of distances and on-site family activities, with routes running along the Muskoka River.

Course and services The course is described as flat and scenic and is presented as a certified 2028 BQ course. The race is sanctioned by Athletics Ontario. Hydration stations are provided approximately every 2.5 km. Marathon participants are shuttled from free parking to Santa's Village, and the marathon has a five-hour cut-off.
Event features and community Start and finish are at Santa's Village. Certain race packages include a GPS-enabled race bib, a wooden finisher's medallion, emailed time results, and a running shoe bag with surprise swag. The weekend includes family programming at Santa's Village, a live DJ and an on-site MC. The event supports Campfire Circle, which provides medically supported camp programs for children with cancer or serious illness; current fundraising shows CA$8,654.36 raised toward a CA$50,000 goal.
Traffic and safety Temporary single-lane traffic controls will be in effect on event days. Full road closures are not requested; certified flaggers and OPP officers will manage traffic and maintain access to properties and businesses.
