Muskoka Marathon 2026
The event is based at Santa's Village in Bracebridge and takes place over one weekend in October. Courses run along the Muskoka River on flat, scenic routes that are certified as a 2028 Boston Qualifier and sanctioned by Athletics Ontario. Hydration stations are provided every 2.5 km.
Offered distances:
- 5 km out and back on Saturday
- 10 km out and back on Saturday
- Half marathon out and back on Sunday
- Marathon double out and back on Sunday
Race packages include a GPS-enabled race bib, a wooden finisher's medallion, emailed time results, and a running shoe bag with surprise swag for several distances. Marathon entrants are shuttled by bus from free parking to Santa's Village. The marathon cutoff time is five hours.
Local traffic management will use single-lane restrictions rather than full road closures, with certified flaggers and OPP officers managing intersections. Access to properties and businesses will be maintained throughout the event. Age accompaniment rules and other participant requirements apply for some distances.
