Muskoka Marathon
The Muskoka Marathon is an Athletics Ontario–sanctioned road race held in 2026 over two days, October 3 and 4, at Santa's Village in Bracebridge, Ontario. The event offers multiple paved courses that follow the Muskoka River and use local roads such as Santa's Village Road, Wellington Street and Beaumont Drive.
Distances offered:
- 5 km: out-and-back with a 2.5 km turnaround
- 10 km: two laps of the 5 km out-and-back
- Half marathon: single loop on the certified course
- Marathon (42.2 km): the certified loop completed twice
The full and half marathon course is certified as a Boston Marathon qualifier. The longer course has minimal elevation change, approximately 55 m total, and the 5 km and 10 km courses have about 15 m total elevation change. All routes are on paved roads and the marathon format is a double out-and-back for the full distance, with a turnaround at Kirby's Beach for the main loop.
