Muskoka Marathon 2026
The Muskoka Marathon takes place October 3 and 4, 2026 at Santa's Village in Bracebridge, Ontario. The event offers multiple distances on out and back courses along the Muskoka River, described as flat and scenic.
Distances offered:
- 5 km out and back along the Muskoka River
- 10 km out and back along the Muskoka River
- 21.1 km half marathon, out and back
- 42.2 km marathon, double out and back along the Muskoka River
The course is noted as a certified 2028 BQ course and the event is sanctioned by Athletics Ontario. Hydration stations are provided every 2.5 km. Marathon entrants are shuttled by bus from free parking to Santa's Village, and the marathon has a five hour cutoff. Race packages may include a GPS enabled race bib, a wooden finisher's medallion, emailed results, and a running shoe bag with surprise swag.
Saturday features 5K and 10K races and family activities at Santa's Village, including kids races. Temporary traffic measures will be in effect during race activities, with single lane controls, certified flaggers, and OPP officers managing intersections while maintaining access to properties and businesses.
