Muskoka Marathon 2026 : Bracebridge, Ontario
The Muskoka Marathon takes place the weekend of October 3–4, 2026, with starts and finishes at Santa's Village in Bracebridge. Routes run mainly out-and-back along the Muskoka River.
Event distances by day:
- 10 km, 5 km, and 1.5 km on Saturday
- Marathon and Half Marathon on Sunday
The marathon course is certified as a 2028 BQ route and the event is sanctioned by Athletics Ontario. Hydration stations are provided every 2.5 km. The marathon is a double out-and-back and marathon entrants are shuttled by bus from free parking to Santa's Village. The marathon cut-off time is five hours.
Race packages include a GPS-enabled race bib, a wooden finisher medallion, and emailed timing results; several distances also receive a running shoe bag with event swag. Participants receive a participant discount for Santa's Village admission during event dates. The weekend features family activities at Santa's Village alongside on-course services.
Traffic management measures during the weekend include single-lane traffic controls, certified flaggers, signage and police support. Access to properties and businesses is maintained throughout race activities. The event partners with Campfire Circle to support children with cancer or serious illness.
