Gravenhurst
Hosted at the Muskoka Wharf Sports Fields, this event has been a staple of the MultiSport Canada Triathlon Series for over a decade. The competition features a distinctive start where participants jump from the iconic Muskoka Steamships to begin the swim portion. Due to the capacity limits of the steamships, the event has a fixed entry limit and frequently reaches full capacity.
The races take place in June, utilizing quieter local roads and a large grass transition area. The event layout is designed for convenience, with registration, food services, awards, and the finish line all situated in close proximity to one another. The venue is also designed to be spectator friendly.
Available race formats include:
- Olympic Distance Triathlon (Individual or Relay)
- International Distance Duathlon (Individual or Relay)
- Sprint Triathlon (Individual or Relay)
- Sprint Duathlon (Individual or Relay)
Participants who register by May 24th receive a race-specific T-shirt, while those registering after this date receive a series T-shirt. Registered athletes receive detailed pre-event information regarding course details, wave start times, and water temperature in the days leading up to the weekend.
