Music City Turkey Trot
The Music City Turkey Trot is a community run/walk hosted at Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tennessee. The event offers two distance options:
- 5K
- 1 Mile
Participants receive a long sleeve shirt and a custom finisher’s medal. Jogging strollers are permitted on the course; anyone pushing a stroller or bringing a pet must start at the back of the pack. Dogs can participate via a Doggie Dash add-on; registered canine participants receive a bib, medal, and bandana. Participants are asked to clean up after their animals.
The course route may be changed or rerouted by city authorities or the police. Restrooms and first aid are available at the start/finish area. A one-hour time limit applies to the 5K; the time limit begins when a participant crosses the start line. Free parking is offered in lots G, M, and R at Nissan Stadium, with access to lots G and M from Woodland Street and restricted access to lot R during the 5K.
Awards are distributed at the timing tent with no formal ceremony. Top three males and females are recognized overall and in multiple age groups, and a top three costume contest is included. Awards must be picked up in person and will not be mailed. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
