Music City Turkey Trot
The Music City Turkey Trot takes place in Downtown Nashville, starting and finishing at Nissan Stadium. This Thanksgiving morning event offers participants a tour of the city area with two distinct distance options:
- 5K
- 1 Mile
The event is designed to be inclusive of all ages and abilities. The 5K course has a time limit of one hour, beginning from the moment a participant crosses the start line. Jogging strollers are permitted on the course, and the event is dog-friendly. Owners who bring their pets or push strollers are required to start at the back of the group for safety.
A specific "Doggie Dash" add-on is available for those running with pets, which provides the animal with its own bib, medal, and bandana. All human participants receive a long-sleeve t-shirt and a custom finisher's medal upon completion.
Awards are provided for the top three male and female finishers in various categories, including overall, youth, and master divisions ranging from age 14 and under to 80 and over. Additionally, a costume contest recognizes the top three participants in holiday attire. Free parking is provided for participants in specific lots at Nissan Stadium.
