Murray Freedom Festival 5K
The Murray Freedom Festival 5K is a community fun run open to all ages. The course follows a scenic route around the small town of Murray, Nebraska, and the event is scheduled for July 4 at Young Memorial Park in Murray, Nebraska.
Registration is available before the day of the event for a fee of $30 and on the day of the event at Young Memorial Park for a fee of $40. Runners who preregistered before June 15 will receive a 5K t-shirt. Registrations submitted after June 19 are not guaranteed a t-shirt.
Participants are offered basic on-course support with fruit and water available for runners. Past editions include published results and lists of winners. The event has received partial funding from Cass County Tourism.
