About the race
The Leprechaun Chase is a St. Patrick's Day themed 10K run held at the Strategic Air & Space Museum in Ashland, Nebraska. The event is organized by Pink Gorilla Events and is part of the BRIN Running Series.
The race uses a chase format: the lasses start in the first wave and the lads begin 5½ minutes later. The first runner to cross the finish line determines which gender wins the chase. Kilt-wearing bagpipers and bagpipe players appear along the course.
Race entries include a packaged set of items and services such as an event shirt, a medal, bib tagged photos, parking, a free beverage and museum admission. The finish area features a post race party and festival atmosphere. Past editions have included organized entertainment along the route and group volunteer participation.
