Murray Bridge Marathon Festival 2026
The Murray Bridge Marathon Festival takes place on Sunday 1 November 2026 and is organised by Murraylands Multisports Inc. The event offers multiple distances and a Halloween theme for the shorter run.
- 5 km Monster Mash Fun Run, Halloween themed
- 10 km course covering highlights of the marathon route
- 21.1 km Half Marathon along the Murray River
The course starts and finishes by the Bunyip at Sturt Reserve and follows the riverside esplanade, reserve areas and Bridge Street. Runners cross the first bridge to span the Murray River and pass River Cities highlights. The full marathon distance has been removed for 2026 because of construction works on the levee banks and is scheduled to return in 2027.
The 5 km event is presented as a family friendly Monster Mash Fun Run with a kids pricing discount and encourages costumes. Course maps are provided by the organiser. Registrations for the event close on 25 October 2026. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
