About the race
The Murray Bridge Running Festival is held at Sturt Reserve on Murray Cods Drive in Murray Bridge. The event village sits on the lawn between the playground and skate park, with the start line located beside the Bunyip statue. Road closures will be in place for the reserve and a car parking plan is published for attendees.
Distances offered in 2026:
- 21.1 km half marathon
- 10 km run
- 5 km fun run/walk
- 1.5 km kids dash
The full marathon distance has been removed for 2026 because of construction works on the levee banks. Entry pricing is tiered with early bird, standard and late windows for each distance. Organisers publish course maps, aid station plans and cut off paces for each event. Bibs can be collected the evening before at the Bridgeport Hotel or on race morning at Sturt Reserve.
Event facilities include a coffee van, post‑race refreshments, an undercover playground and the M.B. skate park and pump track for children. First Care Medical will provide on‑site medical support. Finishers medals are planned for all runners in 2026, with 1st to 3rd place medals for open and veteran category winners. Race presentations occur shortly after the top finishers have completed each distance. All event personnel are volunteers. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
