Murray Bridge Marathon Festival 2026
The Murray Bridge Marathon Festival is scheduled for November 1, 2026 in Murray Bridge, South Australia, organised by Murraylands Multisports Inc. This is the eighth annual running festival and the event is presented as a Halloween edition.
The course starts and finishes by the Bunyip at Sturt Reserve and follows riverside paths and local streets along the Murray River. The route includes the riverside esplanade, reserve areas, Bridge Street, and a crossing of the first bridge to span the Murray River. Course maps are available from the event organiser.
Distances offered for 2026 are:
- 5 km Monster Mash Fun Run for Halloween dress up
- 10 km route covering highlights of the longer course
- 21.1 km half marathon
The full marathon distance has been removed from the 2026 program because of construction works on the levee banks; the marathon is expected to return in 2027. The 5 km event is promoted as a Halloween fun run with a children’s discount applied at checkout. Registrations for the event close on October 25th.
