The Bend Running Festival
The Bend Running Festival takes place at the Shell V-Power Motorsport Park at The Bend. This event provides participants with the opportunity to run on a dedicated motor racing circuit. The courses utilize the GT Circuit layout of the facility, with the start line and participant briefings located in the Pit Lane area.
The festival offers several distances to accommodate different participants:
- 21.1 km half marathon consisting of three laps of the circuit.
- 10 km run completed in two laps.
- 5 km run consisting of a single lap.
- Kids Dash specifically for younger participants.
The half marathon distance has a course cut-off time of three hours, while the 10 km event has a cut-off time of two hours. Registration and bib collection occur on-site on the morning of the event at designated intervals prior to each distance start. The event is organized by Murraylands Multisports Inc.
