Munger Spud Run
The Munger Spud Run is a community 5K run and walk held in Munger, MI. The course is flat, follows mostly country roads, and includes a lap around the Potato Festival fairgrounds. The event takes place during the Munger Potato Festival, which features additional events, rides, and food.
Registration is handled inside the Munger Volunteer Firemen Corp. Schoolhouse Hall on Tweet Drive, off Finn Road, at the southeast corner of the fairgrounds. Race day registration is available for $35 and opens at 8:00, closing at 8:45 a.m. A t-shirt cannot be guaranteed for day of or late registrants.
Parking is available in the fire department parking lot on Munger Road and in the free parking lot on Finn Road. An awards presentation is scheduled in the kids day tent at approximately 11:00 a.m.
The race is sponsored by Frankenmuth Credit Union and the Munger Volunteer Firemen. Timing is provided by Miller Race Management. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
