Munger Spud Run
The Munger Spud Run is a community 5K run and walk held alongside the Munger Potato Festival in Munger, Michigan. The event takes place around the farm community and includes festival activity on the fairgrounds.
The course is described as flat and fast, composed mostly of country roads with a lap around the Potato Festival Fairgrounds.
Location and event logistics are centered at 1625 S. Finn Road, Munger, MI 48747. The registration table is inside the Munger Volunteer Firemen Corp. Schoolhouse Hall on Tweet Drive, off Finn Road, located at the southeast corner of the fairgrounds. Race day registration costs $35 and is available on race day. A t-shirt cannot be guaranteed for day of or late registrants.
Parking is available in the fire department parking lot on Munger Road and in the free parking lot on Finn Road.
Awards are presented in the kids day tent. Timing is provided by Miller Race Management. Event sponsors include Frankenmuth Credit Union, Munger Volunteer Firemen, and John E Green Co.
