Mulholland Under the Stars Trail Race
Mulholland Under the Stars is a night trail event on November 7, 2026, held at Marvin Braude Mulholland Gateway Park in Tarzana, CA (3600 Reseda Blvd). The event offers two distances on fire roads, with start and finish at the trailhead parking lot. Courses are fully marked and the park remains open to other users, so runners should be courteous to other visitors.

Safety equipment is mandatory: all runners must start with a working headlamp or flashlight that lasts the whole race. Lights will be checked at packet pick-up and per park protocol no light means no start. The event provides course support including aid stations at mile 1.5 and mile 3.1 (turnaround), sweepers positioned ahead, mid-pack, and behind, and medical coverage at the start/finish and at both aid locations.
Facilities include porta-potties at the start/finish and packet pick-up at the same location. Course maps are available on Strava. All finishers receive a medal and a race shirt to pick up at the finish. Event pricing structure notes registration opens August 1, 2026 and fees increase on September 1 and October 1; totals include taxes and processing fees.
Participants are asked to pack out trash or use bins at the start/finish; course markings are removed after the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
