Mujeres & Marigolds Trail Run
The Mujeres & Marigolds Trail Run is a women-only event held at Rocky Hill Ranch in Smithville, Texas. The race features a variety of distances held on a course characterized by small climbs and rolling terrain. The event has a participant limit of 500 runners.
Participants can choose from several distance options:
- 100k Solo or Relay
- 50k
- 25k
- 10k
- 5k
The 100k race consists of four loops, while the 50k is two loops and the 25k, 10k, and 5k are single loops. A 24-hour cutoff time is in place for the entire event. The race follows a cupless policy to reduce environmental impact; runners are required to provide their own reusable bottles or hydration packs. Three full aid stations are located at the 5 km and 10 km marks, as well as a main station at the start/finish area. These stations provide water, electrolyte drinks, soda, and a variety of snacks including fruit, salty items, and hot food such as quesadillas or ramen.
The venue offers free on-site camping and shower facilities for participants. There is a daily park entry fee collected during packet pickup. The closest major airport is Austin-Bergstrom International Airport. Finisher awards include buckles for the 100k and 50k distances, while medals are provided for the other categories.
