Mudslinger Trail Run (April 18, 2026)
The Mudslinger Trail Run is a half marathon held in Blodgett, Oregon, as part of the Mudslinger Festival. The course runs on trails in the Blodgett area and the Tum Tum unit of Starker Forests, featuring rolling hills and forested singletrack. The finish is at Blodgett School. The event is connected to the Mudslinger XC mountain bike race through the Ultimate Mudslinger competition, which combines results from both events for solo competitors and combined teams.
Event details and logistics
Packet pickup and race-day operations are based at Blodgett School, 35177 Tum Tum Rd, Blodgett, OR. Registration is limited to 100 runners. Early registration is listed at $60, increasing to $70 after March 1. Awards are offered by age group for men and women (U19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+), and finishers receive custom Mudslinger Trail Run coffee mugs. Trail markings include pink arrows, orange and red striped ribbons, and yellow X "NO" signs at wrong directions. Food will be available for purchase from Cowgirl Cookin of Oakridge. The event notes an on-course cash Easter egg hunt during the festival period. The competition supports Trail Sisters policies such as equal podiums and awards, women-specific apparel and swag, menstrual products at aid stations, and pregnancy and postpartum policies.
