Mudslinger Trail Run : Blodgett, Oregon

The Mudslinger Trail Run is a Half Marathon held as part of the Mudslinger Festival in Blodgett, Oregon. The course uses trails in the Tum Tum unit of Starker Forests and finishes at Blodgett School, 35177 Tum Tum Rd.

Registration is limited to 100 runners. Early registration is listed at $65, with a later fee shown as $70. Packet pickup is handled at Blodgett School.

Trails are marked with pink arrows and orange and red striped ribbons, with yellow X signs indicating wrong directions on some sections. Trail conditions vary with weather; some sections are steep and mud levels depend on conditions, so trail running shoes are recommended.

Awards are given by age group for men and women, including U19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+. Event awards include custom Mudslinger Trail Run coffee mugs. The event notes provisions that focus on women participants, including equal podiums and awards, women’s specific apparel and swag, menstrual products at aid stations, and a pregnancy and postpartum policy; the event is noted as Trail Sisters approved.
