Event
The Mudslinger Trail Run is a half marathon held in Blodgett, Oregon, on March 28, 2026. The course runs through forested trails in the Tum Tum unit of Starker Forests and features rolling hills and steep sections; trail running shoes are recommended. The event is presented as part of the Mudslinger Festival and is linked to a separate Mudslinger XC mountain bike race.
Details
The event is limited to 100 runners. Early registration is listed at $60, rising to $70 after March 1. Packet pickup is at Blodgett School, 35177 Tum Tum Rd. Trail markings include pink arrows, orange and red striped ribbons, and yellow "X" signs to indicate incorrect directions. Aid stations will include menstrual products. Awards are offered by age group and gender (U19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+) and include custom Mudslinger Trail Run coffee mugs. The organizer notes variable mud conditions depending on weather.
Ultimate Mudslinger
The Ultimate Mudslinger competition combines the trail run and the Mudslinger XC mountain bike race. Participants may compete individually or as combined teams; team scoring uses the combined time of runner and biker. Individuals attempting both events are scored for the Overall Ultimate Mudslinger and are required to meet the stated run time condition to be eligible for combined scoring.
