Mudslinger Trail Run
The Mudslinger Trail Run is a Half Marathon trail race held April 3rd, 2027 in Blodgett, Oregon as part of the Mudslinger Festival. The course runs through the Tum Tum unit of Starker Forests and finishes at the Blodgett School.
Packet pickup and event operations are based at Blodgett School, 35177 Tum Tum Rd. The field is limited to 100 runners. Early registration is listed at $75.00 and $80.00 after. Entry includes custom runner socks. Awards include custom Mudslinger Trail Run coffee mugs and age-group prizes for both men and women in U19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+ categories.
The event follows Trail Sisters policies, including equal podiums and awards, women’s specific apparel and swag, menstrual products at aid stations, women on the starting line, and a pregnancy and postpartum policy. Trail markings use pink arrows and orange and red striped ribbons, with yellow X no signs indicating incorrect directions.
Course conditions depend on weather; some sections are steep and specific trail running shoes are recommended. The Mudslinger program also offers an Ultimate Mudslinger competition that combines the trail run and the Mudslinger XC mountain bike race for combined scoring. Solo and team categories are scored for the combined challenge, and solo participants who complete both events are eligible for combined awards.
