St. Patrick's Spring Fling Trail Run : Alsea Falls, March 20, 2027
The event presents trail running options at the Alsea Falls Recreation Area near Alpine, Oregon. The course uses forest trails and includes clear course markings with pink arrows, orange and red striped ribbons, and yellow X "no" signs to indicate wrong directions.
Distances offered:
- Half Marathon
- 10K
- 5K (limited to 50 runners)
Field limits are 250 entries for the Half Marathon and 10K, and 50 for the 5K. Packet pickup is onsite at the Fall Creek Trailhead in the Alsea Falls Recreation Area. The Half Marathon includes a checkpoint at mile 7 (Aid Bravo). One staffed aid station is listed on course; entries receive fuel in their packets including Hammer Nutrition Heed, and organizers provide water and snacks at the aid station.
Awards include custom awards for the top three finishers in each category and custom glassware for top three in 10-year age groups. Overall top finishers in the Half Marathon, 10K, and 5K may receive free entry to the following year's event if they register by January 1. Seven dollars from each entry supports the Alsea Falls Trail System.
Event policies note support for Trail Sisters guidelines, including women's specific apparel, menstrual products at aid stations, equal podiums and awards, and a pregnancy and postpartum policy.
